We’ve all come in contact with her — the girl who pretends not to know where she bought or how she got something she’s wearing.

Sometimes you can predict it, but other times, it catches you so off guard you loose your gusto to ever ask again. I hate those girls. I mean who do they think they’re fooling. Sometimes I wish I could respond with a — “Seriously? How can you not know?”

The responses they give can vary from, “Oh, this. I’ve had it forever, I don’t even remember, ” to “I got it at a small boutique in some other state/country,” which we all know means, “Good luck on your wild goose hunt.”

Don’t you think if someone goes out of their way to compliment you and then goes out on a limb to find out where you got it, you should TELL THEM!? Everyone knows the rules ladies…if you tell me, then I promise not to wear or use **it** anywhere that you might be. You had it first, so you get to wear it on any common turf. Not telling is just plain spiteful.

And let’s be honest, it usually means you got it at half price or from a store you’re too embarrassed to disclose. Well sistas, you’re not fooling anyone.

The polite response sounds more like -”Oh I got it at the annual Barney’s sale this weekend. I think they have a few left. Go quick.”
