Still wondering what you’re going to wear this Valentine’s?  Well, here’s some unsolicited advice…

If you’ve been dating less than six months, I suggest wearing something that’s conservative sexy.  Obviously, you want to look hot, but you don’t want to look like you’re trying too hard to impress.  A good rule of thumb for this look is to never reveal too much skin, instead show peeks at a time.  For instance, instead of going with a strapless dress, go with something like this black lace Alice + Olivia dress, with a sheer black lace turtleneck, which will surely drive him wild.

Another good option would be something like this black Miu Miu dress, which is both sexy, yet very classy.  I love the added tie in the back.

If you’ve been dating longer than six months and it’s more of a special night out for the two of you, then I’d do it up.  Wear something bold but also romantic and feminine like this tier mini dress by MINT Jodi Arnold.

And what better excuse than Valentine’s day to get some new lingerie.  I’ve been looking for any excuse to get this corset set by Rene Rofe after I saw it on an episode of gossip girl.
