The Prettiest Holiday Cards

They don’t have to say a lot, they don’t even have to have money inside for people to appreciate them. In fact, the easiest way to spread a little joy this holiday season is with a beautifully designed holiday card.

Forget those stodgy old Christmas cards you picked up at the drugstore for 99¢ (you know the ones with cardinals and glitter on the front). Seriously, those Thomas Kinkade prints aren’t impressing anyone.

Why not send your season’s greetings with one of these lovely beauties:

Mr. Boddington’s Studio: Feasting on childish delights, these vintage looking cards invoke memories of childhood splendor with bright colors and delicate lines.

Boxed Holiday Cards from Mr. Boddington’s Studio, Set of 8 – $20.

Egg Press: These kids from Portland (my hometown),  keep their cards light and modern with a crisp air of humor and holiday friendly.  I am personally sending a few of these out this year.

Kate Spade: If you’re looking for something simple and clean, a little bit less is more, roast your chestnuts on these holiday goldies. . .

Pancake and Franks: The name alone incites pure joy. Simple and understated, these cards are perfect for the minimalist at heart.

ECARDS: No time to pick up a pen, spell it like this: someecards.com.  SCOOP THESE UP! They’ll make you laugh out loud, laugh under the covers, laugh all the way home.

You can even buy hardcopies of these.  I just bought a set of 45 for $10 at urban outfitters and if you know me personally, you will be receiving one of these beauts.

Last but not least – I need all your opinions about these – scratch and sniff Holiday cards??

I say leave these on stickers or dumb blond jokes… not holiday cards.  What do you think?

Hearts and Stars,
