You’ve managed to make it past the most depressing day of the year, but somehow you’re still managing to find things to stress about. Whether it’s shedding those last couple holiday pounds, your credit card bill, or what to get that special someone for Valentine’s Day, worrying isn’t doing you any good. What you really need is to stop for a minute and take a deep breath.
Of course, it’s much easier to dole this advice out than to actually implement it, which is why I want to introduce you to Scott Schwenk, the founder of BreathWorks. This might sound a little crazy, but Schwenk teaches people how to get out of their minds and relax through breathing. Yes breathing!
That’s all you need to do he says– take a couple of minutes to do some deep breathing and clear your mind. He says the results can be transformative.

I had the pleasure of taking Schwenk’s class recently and I found the breathing technique he taught quite revitalizing. Rather than taking a deep breath in through your nose, he suggests taking two consecutive inhales from your mouth, followed by an exhale. On the first inhale concentrate on filling up the lungs, on the second focus on the belly. Repeat over over until you’re completely lost in the technique.
Still need help. Give Scott a call. He’s available for private sessions in person or over the phone. He’s number is 310.922.4890.
Until next time,
