Whether you have a Valentine or not, there’s something fun about all the heart-shaped goodies you can find around this time of year.

Just this morning I saw heart shaped sprinkles on donuts at a local bakery and was amazed how much they cheered things up. I was good though, I resisted the temptation.

The donuts did get me thinking about Sprinkles’ red velvet XOX cupcakes (my favorite). I love the adorable candy toppings.

No Sprinkles in your hood, no worries, Williams-Sonoma now sells the legendary Sprinkles red velvet mix online and in stores.  Note: the special “XOX” toppings are not included and Sprinkles will not sell them, I’ve tried.

For a less sinful sweet treat, I think this hot cocoa from Fred Flare takes the cake. The heart marshmallows are too cute, warms me right up.
