Not only has the weather in my neck of the woods been kinda lousy lately, but I myself have been feeling a little under the weather. I think it’s been all the traveling I’ve been doing.

This weekend I plan to take it easy and curl up with my kindle.

read
I read 3 great books over the course of trip that I wanted to share with you.

First,  The Help. I loved this book. Once you start, you won’t want to put it down. I was actually sad when I got to the end of this book cause I wanted it to keep on going. It will make you laugh and cry.

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Another book I had a hard time putting down. This one is about the German occupation of the Channel Islands during World War II. The entire thing is told through letters, which keeps it really interesting.

And last, but certainly not least is The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.  This one starts off a little slow, but don’t let that kid you, it’s definitely a great thriller filled with mystery and intrigue. I guess it’s also just been released as a movie, which I’m excited to check out.

Have you read anything worth talking about it lately? Please do share.

Until next time,
Trendspotter

I love to read too! I will have to check these out. I am currently reading “THe Queen of Attolia” by Megan Whalen Turner. It’s the second in four books. They are FABULOUS! Happy SITS Saturday sharefest!

I just finished reading “Best Friends Forever” while vacationing on the beach in the Bahamas.  It was a good read for the beach because it was easy to follow and it was full of suspense.  It also had a happy ending which didn’t leave me disappointed but it definitely wasn’t an intellectual type book.  It was strictly for relaxation.
