I just about died when I saw these at American Apparel recently. I know AA has successfully brought some trends back from the dead, but this is taking it too far.

Apparently the folks at AA think the scrunchie is going to become really popular again too because they’re making ‘em in nylon, cotton, and metallic, (yes, the shiny scrunchie is back!)

Their Nylon Tricot Scrunchie alone comes in more than 15 colors and costs $6, are you kidding me? You couldn’t pay me to wear one.
