Just when I thought I was in the know on every possible MAC product, promotion and collection, I spot this on L.A. Times’ website.

MAC never ceases to amaze me; they always find new ways to inspire me. And this collection of more than 20 unique Halloween looks is their latest draw. Not only are they fresh and totally unique, step-by-step instructions on how to recreate each of them is included. Thanks MAC!

While this Sea Creature look featured by the L.A. Times isn’t in that top 20+ chart, I found the slideshow tutorial fascinating. The artist uses a fishnet stocking to create the pattern on her face–how cool is that?

Apparently, releasing Halloween looks is a MAC tradition. The Co. asks their artists from around the world to submit designs, which are then voted monstrously fabulous by their peers. What a great idea! My only beef is: How did I not know about this? MAC, please send us memos on this type of stuff, we’re some of your biggest fans.
