Korres on the Cheap

If you find yourself in Athens for a night or two, there are two must-see attractions: 1) the Acropolis and the new Acropolis Museum obviously, and 2) the original Korres pharmacy and flagship store.

For those of you unfamiliar with the line, Korres is one of the leading natural and organic skincare lines. It’ s headquarters are right outside of Athens, but their products are sold all over Athens at a fraction of what you’ll pay in the states.

My favorite thing about visiting the original pharmacy however was getting to see some of Korres newest releases, products that haven’t made their way to the states yet.  Here were some of the products I’ve never seen in U.S. stores:

greeceonly

[Top to Bottom: Korres haircolor, Korres perfumes]

greeceonly2

[Clockwise from top: Korres herbal serums, Korres colorants, Korres honey base syrup, Korres bug repellent, Korres candy, Korres chewing gum]

I wonder if these products will ever make it to the US? I tried the gum and some of the jelly candies (couldn’t resist), they were good.

What’s great about Korres products is their free of toxic ingredients like: mineral oil, silicone, parabens, sulphates, synthetic dyes, fragrances, and petrochemicals, which makes them a winner in my book.

Until next time,
