It’s that time of year when we face one of life’s big struggles.. our love of the sun and our fear of pre-mature aging. Lucky for all us sun bums straw fedoras are totally in.
Just take Zac Efron for instance, he knows there’s a line of tighter, younger, aspiring tweens waiting to take his spot, that’s why he preserves his 17 year-old-looking baby face with not one but two straw fedora hats.

Kim Kardashian doesn’t mind if her melons end up leathery… just not that precious face.

What’s great about the fedora is that you can dress it up or down.
Here’s Brad Pitt suited up taking the kids to adopt more kids.

Then there’s Sean/Puff daddy/Pdiddy/Diddy/Combs looking very weekend in the Hamptons-y.

Here’s Jessica Alba and Reese Witherspoon in what I call “fun with fedoras”.

So you get the point: everyone in Hollywood is wearing one. Now where can you get one? ANYWHERE. These babies are like Spencer and Heidi… everywhere and selling out cheaply.
Ben Sherman has some great ones for guys.

For women, I think Karmaloop has one of the best selections.

Also try Urban Outfitters, Bebe, and Forever 21 as I’ve seen some cute ones come out of these stores.
But shoppers beware: don’t pay more than $30, after all it is just a straw hat.
Giving it to you straight,

Oh Left-Tie, you’re so cute, esp the Kim K comment. Her melons could each use their own fedora. My sister, who’s a fashion designer, showed up with a fedora before i knew they were a trend and I instantly loved the idea. I love all the menswear trends for women.
Loving your recs LT! I want the one Reese has on with the satin ribbon. So chic.
