The other night, the mister and I were getting ready to go out to dinner with some friends. We were kind of in a rush because we got caught up watching episodes of Globe Trekker on YouTube Rentals late in the afternoon. (If you haven’t checked these out yet, you don’t know what you’re missing.)
As I glanced at myself in the mirror, I could see my outfit was missing something. I knew exactly the necklace that could take this outfit from “meh” to “wow.” If only I could find it. The clock was ticking, so I went into excavation mode. If it wasn’t the necklace I was looking for, it quickly became rubble that I tossed onto my bed.
I didn’t realize the damage I had done, until I got home later that night. Tired and ready to crawl into bed, I found myself starring at a big tangle of necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. As I moved the pile onto my dresser, I thought “I’ve got to come up with a better solution.”
I asked my friend Trish, who happens to be a professional organizer and closet wizard, if she had suggestions. I mentioned that I wasn’t crazy about traditional jewelry boxes because they didn’t solve the tangling problem. A couple weeks later I received these in the mail:
