How Do You Take Your Lashes?

Hey Ladies!

Sorry it’s been awhile since my last post. I’ve been awfully busy, but I spotted something the other day that I just had to share with you.

tokyo-lash-bar

It’s a lash bar, you know for eyelashes. It’s Japanese makeup artist Shu Uemura’s latest invention, it’s even been featured in Time magazine.

If you’ve ever tried a pair of falsies, then you know one size does NOT  fit all, which is why the lash bar is so brilliant. They custom fit the lashes to your eye and then give you a mini lesson on how to apply and remove them properly so you can get the most use out of them.

There’s so many to choose from, it’s a bit overwhelming, it’s like Fred Segal’s denim bar but for eyelashes. The girl who worked the lash bar I visited was kind enough to share some insider info with me.

Wanna know the  falsies Lady Gaga wears? Here they are:

And Madonna…

They also have some great lashes you could use for Halloween like these from the premium lash collection.  I’d totally base a costume around a pair of these babies.

Prices range from $20-$80 a pair.

Butterfly kisses anyone?

Yours truly,

Lady Lex

Shu Uemura lashes and cosmetics are available at Shu Uemura counters and at shuuemura.com .
