Love it!  What can I say!  Wish I had such long hair to do the same.

I’m pretty sure every time I seen Trendspotter she has the perfect messy bun. In fact, I often think, damn I wish my hair would look that cool all disheveled like that.

This look alone is why I have attempted to grow my hair out time and time again!

the thing I miss most about having a bob w/bangs is the messy updo! 6 more months of grow-out & I should be able to do it again…

I’ve got the messy part down. Now if I could ever have the patience to get my hair long enough for this action! I have always been jealous of these effortless-looking types. I guess it’s a small comfort that though it’s not that much effort, at least I know those ladies are actually trying for that nonchalant librarian or farmer’s market shopper look.

Lovely! Now I just need to grow my hair out some so I can give this a try.  :)

Do you use a tie of any sort or do you just use pins to secure?

i couldn’t find any good ones that didn’t require a lot of effort. i love this!! thankyou!

ninafarina and Sonja, you don’t need a long hair to do that. My hair is shorter than that and I can do it. I even can do it using nothing than my hair to secure!
    It takes practice! ;)
