There’s only two and half weeks left to Halloween and you’re  still trying to come up with a costume idea. Sure you could get one of those costume-in-a-bag deals, but there were so many other Sarah Palins last year, you want a look all your own this year.

Don’t panic, we have some great ideas that will make it look like you started planning your costume last Halloween.

For: A funny costume

What:  A Shacker on the ‘Walk of Shame’ (Don’t pretend like you’re clueless )

How:  Wear a wrinkled party dress, obviously too large flip-flops, and carry your heels in your hand all night. Tease your hair so you have obvious bed head, and smear some eyeliner and mascara around your eyes. Walk around like you’re trying to avoid making eye contact.

Watch this for inspiration:

For: Couples

What: A Deer and a Hunter

How: Girl wears something brown, (this cotton unitard from American Apparel would be perfect)  with white fur collar like this one and antlers. To be more faun-like, she could also paint white spots on it.

Guy wears hunting gear and carries bow and arrow set. To add a little gore, girl could add an arrow and blood to her costume and be a “hunted deer,” like this girl I found on flickr.

For: A sexy costume

What: Space Age Stewardess

How: Take Britney’s lead and dress up as a intoxicating stewardess. I love this sexy but still classy one from Patricia Field (Costume Designer from Sex and the City).

For: Those on a budget

What: A vampire victim

How:  Wear tattered clothing that shows a struggle. Affix one of these vampire wounds from Ricky’s NYC to your neck and dust your face with pale powder. To really go all out, pour fake blood all over yourself.

I think I’m going as Nancy Kerrigan. I found a figure skating outfit. Now I just need some big hair, ’90s make-up and knee bandages. Maybe some large false teeth. I need to post some photos of me on Halloween last year. I knew there would be lots of Sarah Palins, and I had already dressed up like her for a plaid party, so I was Sarah Heath, Miss Alaska 1984. I thought it was clever and I didn’t have to buy anything because I had the glasses from the other party.

I loved the video of the Walk of Shame but I couldn’t help think of Mrs. Robinson since the music was from the movie “The Graduate”. That goes back to the ’60’s and a bit before your time. I don’t like gore so I wouldn’t dress myself up with blood paint. Do what I did when I did when I was 10 years old–Dress up in a Spanish red and white polka dot dress with black castenettes in each hand and red and white polka dot shoes with all the frills and get ready to be one of those Dance with the Stars.!?
