We have a special guest author today. Her name is Rachel and she’s a grad student living in NYC. When she’s not hitting the books, Rachel is out scouring the streets of NYC looking for healthy and organic food and products. An avid juicer and yogi, this girl’s beauty literally shines from the inside out. We asked her to spill the beans on how she keeps her skin looking so radiant.

RachelBioPicA lot of people don’t realize that our bodies absorb the topical products we put on it. So if you’re putting garbage in, you know what you can expect.

One of the reasons I love “The Body Deli” is because all of the products are handmade in small batches and they only use raw, natural, organic products such as fresh fruit, vegetables, and natural plant oils.

Some of the products are even edible, like the Radiance Enzyme Peel, which contains wild harvested therapeutic grade Manuka honey, organic barley grass juice, organic wheat grass juice and spirulina, just to name a few of its ingredients.

Not only do the products deliver fresh vitamins, enzymes and minerals directly to your skin, but they themselves are so fresh, they come delivered on ice!

I had the chance to sample the almond milk cleanser, the blueberry resurfacing face wash, the fruit smoothie masque and the firming flax eye cream recently and let’s just say I’m going back for more!

Also be sure to check out the sea cucumber gel and coconut cream body soufflé.

I am going to try this stuff. I love skin care products when you can recognize all the ingredients. I have been having some good results with Sonya Dakar products, but have been thinking about starting to make my own stuff as a hobby. This is somewhere in between.
