Anyone remember Targét Couture?

It came out back in 2006. It sort of marked the beginning of designer collaborations for Target.

The line was the result of a collaboration between the big box retailer and Jaye Hersh, founder of Intuition and shopintuition.com. Hersch began selling Targét Couture exclusively at her L.A. boutique.

She also began doing her part to reinvent the bull’s eye logo and the store’s overall image. Studded with Swarovski crystals, the suddenly chic logo began appearing on everything. This is truly when Target became Tar-jah. HA HA!

When I heard Jaye Hersh was teaming up with Target again, it felt like déjà-vu.

But this time, she’s not working with the Target logo, but on fashionably hip accessories at budget prices. Go Jaye!

The line, Hollywood Intuition, will be sold at Target stores from July 2009 through 2010, and will include everything from bags to jewelry.

I think the line must be receiving lots of buzz because I stopped into my local Target this weekend, and it was completely picked over. So, it might be a good idea to shop online for this one.

Let’s take a look at some of the pieces.

multicolorbracelet

Hollywood Intuition Bracelet Set, Multicolor $9.99.

mixedmedianecklace

Hollywood Intuition Mixed Media Necklace $14.99.

This necklace is super cute too.  They’re actually all separate necklaces, so you can mix and match as you please, which rocks! The totes are cute and funky.  I’m not sure how I feel about the lining on this one (below).

tote

Hollywood Intuition Tote with Scarf $29.99.

It looked kinda like a cheesy 90’s print to me, but for $29.99, it’s a steal of a summer bag!

Other noteworthy items: the reversible floppy hat and aviator glasses. Two cute summer grabs on the cheap.

Hollywood Intuition Reversible Floppy Hat $16.99, Hollywood Intuition Aviator Sunglasses $14.99

All in all, I enjoyed strolling thru Target and finding these glam accessories, especially because they don’t break my bank account. For this reason, I’m giving Hollywood Intuition an A-.

I don’t think the accessories will be in stores for very long, so hurry girls!

Jessica
