If you’ve been following my ‘Cheap and Chic or Just Plain Cheap?’ series, you’re familiar with some of the designer labels that have partnered up with Payless recently.

If you’re a newbie, allow me to drop some names that might spark your interest: Lela Rose, Alice + Olivia, Abaeté, and Zoe&Zac.

Before you go getting all excited newbies, I should tell you, the pickings are slim. But here at INPT, we’re the kinda gals who like to see the glass half full, (with the exception of cocktail glasses) so we’ll be focusing on the pretty, not the ugly.

Taking 3rd Place in this Pretty Pageant is Alice + Olivia’s Jordana Gladiator Platform Sandal for $38.

The 2nd Runner-Up is Lela Rose’s Fillmore Slip-On for $28. I love the sailor look.

Our 1st Runner-Up comes as a bit of a surprise. To be honest, we didn’t even consider American Eagle as a contender, until we spotted this cutie.  The Naomi Beaded Sandal by American Eagle. Reg. goes for $24.99, but is now on sale for $19.99.

And now to our 1st Place Winner, (also a surprise) drumroll please….

Fioni’s Scarlet Fringe Sandal

1stplacewinner

Fringe is in! These cute flats are only $24.99. Compare that to Alexandra Neels’ Cleopatra heels, which sell for $770 and there’s no question what a smokin’ deal this is!

This is one pair you can save your money on!

Your gal,

Jess

  • [...] We’d comment on what a surprising partnership this is, but it seems unwarranted when compared to some of the even more jaw-dropping designer collaborations that have taken place over the last year. (Lela Rose and Payless?) [...]
