It’s hard not to feel a little blue around this time of year:  the luster of the holidays has worn off, the cold weather has you bundled up indoors and your credit card bills from the holidays have just rolled in. Before you say “F*$#- it- all-DOT-com” and book a trip to Anguilla, consider brewing yourself a delicious cup of tea and cuddling up with some of these great reads.  Trust me your pocketbook will thank you.

The Overnight Socialite by Bridie Clark

Dying in Style (Mystery Shopper Series #1) by Elaine Veits

For those of you with a wandering soul, the alchemist by Paulo Coelho is absolutely amazing! An LL recommendation for sure. xoxo

I tried to check out The Help at the Library for a book club.  I was #379 on the waiting list.  This book is VERY POPULAR.  If you can’t find a copy, I’ll suggest the first book I’ve ever wanted to read twice – Love in The Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.  The way the man can write women and their inner souls is astounding.  Enjoy!
