We all have an area or area(s) of our bodies we’re a little insecure about. According to a study by REAL magazine and my own personal observations, most women dislike their thighs, hips, and stomach area.
For me, it’s my arms. When I see women like Michelle Obama, who are twice my age and twice as toned, I’m not going to lie, I get a little envious.

Wow, what I wouldn’t give.
The hardest part about having your triceps, biceps, and deltoids constantly on your “target muscle group of the month” list is the lack of exercises (or information about such exercises) available. I mean how many bicep curls can a girl do?
The workout gods must have been listening because just this week I received arm exercises from two different workout gurus in my inbox.
The first one came via DailyCandy and is by Tracy Anderson, the woman who helped Gwyneth Paltrow, Courtney Cox, and Shikara all get to their tiniest strongest points.

What I really liked about this one is that it didn’t require any weights. She just uses water bottles, clever girl. Oh yeah, and it’s free!
The second came from celebrity trainer David Kirsch. This one really sparked my interest because it’s an animated book. Here are some pages from it.




Okay, time to go pump some iron.

Oh Im totally with you. I hate my arms as well. They’re the last thing to shrink whenever i do some diet. And you know, I can hide my tummy and hips with some loose top, and my legs with some dark jeans, but not my arms. I dont wear long or med sleeves all the time… Dropping by from SITS!
