I know, I know, you haven’t even bought your winter coat yet and I’m already telling you about what’s in store for Spring 2010. I can’t help it. Don’t worry, this is just a peek… Not sharing the details on Nicholas Clements-Lindsey’s new line ‘The Criminal,’ would be a fashion felony.

First, some background… The collection was inspired by two great fashion films: The Great Gatsby and To Catch A Thief, a film Gossip Girl’s costume designer Eric Daman draws inspiration from when creating Blair’s outfits. Come to think of it, I could see Blair wearing many of Clements-Lindsey’s designs, especially this one, which I totally want.

During my interview with the designer, he mentioned that this line may be coming to select department stores by Spring. Of course names couldn’t be disclosed because deals are still in the working, but we sure hope they land at our favorites…Buyers are you listening?  Select pieces will be available on the designer’s own website in 2010. Prices range from $400-$800.

Available online at NCLcouture.com

Yours Truly,

Lady Lex

P.S. Here’s some video of Jess and me at the show!
