I’m sure you’ve noticed by now that Mary Janes have come back in a big way. Instead of writing about all the adorable pairs I’ve seen over the last month, I’m going to tell you about the pair I bought and love. (Drum Roll please) They’re Nanette Lepore’s ‘Don’t Explain Mary Jane.’

They were a bit pricey ($390), but since I rarely find shoes that look and feel as good as these do, I went ahead and splurged. One of my favorite things about them is this brillant side zipper . It makes putting them on a cinch and also keeps the straps form getting worn out .

Another great things about this shoe is that it can be worn dressy or casual. I’ve already worn them with a dress and cuffed jeans. Every time I wear them, I receive tons of compliments.

They’ve got a pretty thick heel so they’re pretty comfortable too!
